Alec Ross and Jared Cohen held a fireside chat at Google on geopolitics and innovation. Alec’s new book, The Industries of the Future, explores the key fields that will drive the next 20 years of change to our economies and societies—robotics, advanced life sciences, the code-ification of money, cybersecurity, and big data—and provides the geopolitical, cultural, and generational contexts out of which they are emerging.

Alec is one of America’s leading experts on innovation, serving four years as Senior Advisor for Innovation to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. In that role, he traveled more than half a million miles to 41 countries, including the war zones of Syria and cartel-controlled border towns in northern Mexico. He was also exposed to the highest levels of leadership in the biggest technology companies and governments around the world.

Microphone's sensitively is to high. The guy with a running nose needs to NOT add to soundtrack!! It distracts from the Speaker.

I can't even watch this. Why did they not record the sound through the soundboard? Would have made it more listenable. Also, Talks at Google are garbage and could never compete with Ted Talks.
