Additional videos and images are used for illustrative purposes, under the provision of 'Fair Use'.

At ReDriven, we’ll be taking you through the pros and cons of a huge range of used cars to see how well they’re going now that they’re a few years old, have thousands of kilometres on the clock, and are coming toward the end of their warranty, or maybe don’t have one at all.

Plus, thanks to our resident mechanic, Jim, you’ll find out what commonly goes wrong with them and what might need to be fixed.

Most importantly, we want to make ReDriven a voice for the most in-the-know used car experts there are...you guys.. See, you’re the ones that actually buy, live with, love and sometimes unfortunately hate the cars we’ll be reviewing.

So we want to hear your thoughts. Hit us up in the comments, or on Instagram and Facebook.

We’d love nothing more than for you to give us as much feedback as possible, so we can make this channel the best it can be.

Great video, but with the current market in Sydney this should be the top 5 cars under $10k,

I would have included Honda Jazz in the mix purely for its practicality and fuel economy (much better compared to Mazda 3) as well as its reliability

Still in love with my EK Civic. After 3 years and 114, 000 km.

I remembered driving a 2006 mazda 3 blue like the one in this video from NYC to Las Vegas Nevada and everything worked soo lovely even the AC and those cars are known to have crappy AC compressor. Loved that old car did the road trip without even a tire pressure monitoring light coming on

I would put forward the KIA Rio 2018, we use them as work cars and are bloody rough on them but can't kill them.

My first car was and still is the 2001 Toyota Corolla conquest seca. I’ve had it for over 10 years now. It had under 45, 000 kms on the clock before I purchased it from an elderly female driver who only drove it to the shops and back. For a 23 year old car with low mileage I’ve only ever had to replace the spark plugs which was only last year. The battery of course I’ve replaced, and the tyres when tread has gotten low. It’s been and still is an extremely reliable car. Have had no problems with it; regularly serviced, and will probably run for another 10 years! I’m not planning on getting rid of it anytime soon.

Love your videos! Would be cool to see a selection of used rear wheel drive manual cars that are a bargain. Great content guys!

I had a 2005 Corolla hatchback but it was written off because someone hit it whilst it was parked. Now I drive a 2003 one. Definitely not the most exciting car but very reliable! :D

I went from a 2004 Mazda 3 Sport to a 2011 (facelift) Corolla (well, Auris here in Europe) recently - glad I seem to have made a good choice with both cars, hahah! The Auris isn’t nearly as fun to drive as the Mazda 3 (especially since I got the 1.33 VVT-i version, lol) and it’s got some really scratch prone interior (the silver parts at least), but it’s very comfortable, spacious and has a quite quirky interior design that I like, with it’s high placed gear stick and the “tunnel” underneath, lmao.

Much respect for such an excellent channel! Is the 10th gen Corolla hatch called something else in USA/Canada? Can't seem to find it. Thanks!

The 1.8 in the Civic had a major design flaw, the engine block in the 2006-2007/8 models were known to crack. I don't know how catastrophic that issue was, or if there was a recall to fix it, but get the 2.0 of you're looking for a Civic in that generation.

In the current supply and demand problem, these cars are generally not available. Double the price, and then this video makes sense. I purchased a first car for my daughter this week in Melbourne. In the real world, all I could get for $4200 this week was a very nice condition 2006 Nissan Pulsar. Not sure why the Pulsar did not make the list as they have earned their stripes to be on it. I think this video needs to be re-done to reflect the current reality of what is actually on the market keeping in mind the full drive-away price. Then we will be looking at Pulsars, Corollas, Camrys, Lancers and Echos.
