Kerala Landslide: Survivors of the devastating landslides in Kerala, which have claimed at least 205 lives and left nearly 200 missing, are grappling with an uncertain future. Geetha, whose house was destroyed, lamented, "I have lost my house, I have lost everything. I don’t know what I will do, how will I pay the fees of my children?" Sonia Matthew, a staffer at a relief camp, noted, "They lost their relatives, they lost their children. They are too worried about their rehabilitation because after a few days, they have to go back, and they don’t have a place to go."

Atleast in future we should give importance to nature and trees...dont build big houses and lock all your wealth, a small house surrounded by trees IS HEAVEN....i want to tell humans...how pathetic it is when we dont have a house to stay...the same situation we give to birds and squirrels whenever we cut a single tree and we destroy its source of food....all coastal areas are in danger situation, due to global warming..i have seen many criticise this warning given by scientist, dont be obsessed in buying properties, live a peaceful life, plant trees in every house...or else we all be in the SAME SITUATION, ONE DAY

Adani Group can speak to CM Pinarayi Vijayan and take Kerala Govt approval to transport the Boulders which have come down the mountains in Wayanad to Trivandrum, to be used in Vizhinjam Port Expansion. They should immediately pay an advance of Rs 500cr & weigh the boulder-trucks on road weighbridges en-route. Market value can be ascertained and paid to State Government later. The money can be used for immediate relief works.
