It's real, the person posting it just changed the background to an AI generated image to make it more difficult to trace where the leak is coming from. The Joycon rail pins match exactly to the prior leak (13 pins exactly) of the Joycon shell from September, the Dock has flow marks which aren't possible with 3D printing.

If anyone is unsure of if this picture is in fact edited or not, it is. If you want proof, ask yourself how the lighting on the hand works. Look at it carefully. Specifically, the finger underneath the switch. How is it being lit up in the way it is if theres a solid object directly over it, in the direction the light is supposedly coming from

It's definitely fake. Look at the warping on his hand and the edge of the switch has a hard black outline. Very clearly photoshopped.

There reason it blurred. It to protect himself. And to me it good enough but some people are slow and thing we going to get everything. 😂😅 it show to a point the stand and where the controller port. 😅

So the mods of that subreddit confirmed that they believed this guys images. He had to prove to the mods that he wasn’t full of shit, and supposedly he proved it to them. But idk. What I will say tho, is samushunter I don’t buy at all. I’ve seen too much nonsense from them. They’ve been suggesting that Nintendo was changing the date because of leaks for a while. Nintendo would never do that haha

The fact the images of the dock are cropped/zoomed in alone are proof that this is fake. If you had a legit final retail model in your possession you’d be taking high quality photos from every angle of the thing.

If it ends up being real, cool. But, I dont see how there was enough convincing evidence for the people who saw the pictures early to say that it was real. These images are as real as when Etika trolled us with a 3D printed Nintendo Switch.
