i got to laugh at that question Hikaru plays his move so fast and only premoves when he knows the other players have no choice that if your sniping you have no chance to see what he plans before he plays it anyway. even when he nice enough to tell his viewer his idea they are so many areas and he say it so quickly that even if you know what he may do if your not confidence in your chess do you really think you know the right responce??

For a low level player like me, stream sniping would probably result in me playing worse, especially in a short game.

Also Hikaru can choose what to reveal, even if he was playing a GM who was listening in, he could decide to talk about something else or only reveal the most obvious ideas. In a competetive game Hikaru only does save premoves as well. Chess isn't really a game you can stream snipe in unless the streamer reveals his ideas to the chat.

like, bro, he plays so fast and plays in a such complex way, that knowing what is he going to do 5 seconds before he does it's useless, you ain't making a better move

"Owh (some random dum position) is a very nasty move, i dont want to say the line cause im scared im fighting against a stream sniper"
