To turn off restricted mode on the YouTube mobile app, first open the YouTube app on your device. Then tap your profile icon in the top right corner. Select Settings. Now tap General. Then tap the switch labeled Restricted Mode to disable this feature. When the switch turns from blue to gray, Restricted Mode has been turned off. Note that this will only disable restricted mode for this YouTube account on this specific device, so if you’re signed in on other devices as well, you will have to separately turn off restricted mode on those devices.

I can play videos on my device but not stream them to my TV Without being told I the video is unavailabe with restricted mode enabled. I am streaming from YouTube on an Android phone (restricted mode is disabled) through Chromecast - any ideas for that please?
