DIY Analog Synthesizer Build

Chasing classic vintage sounds and creating whole new ones, that and much more is possible with an analog synth. Buying one is very expensive though, so I'm building my own modular analog synth from scratch. In this video, I show you how I got started making the first modules using my laser engraver to make professional looking front panels.

Great video! Your future rack looks really promising.
I'll be very interested to know how you managed to make the midi to CV yourself. And since you look like a guitarist, it would also be great fun to make a module that could transform a line-level input signal into a high-voltage signal like the ones used by the eurorack modules. Always been kind of intrigued at the idea of synthesizers. Probably a good way to learn more about analog electronics too, definitely interested in seeing more details on different types of modules and concepts etc. Your setup looks really cool I like how it's modular and it looks professionally done.

Hi David . Today you may recall I ordered your arduino sequencer . I just watched this video and would be keen on copying your modules. I have a lot of confidence in your designs. Are there details like schematics etc for the modules you have made so far ? I do hope you will continue these videos as I am very new to synths though I have played with electronics for many years and would like to make a modular synth following your designs.
