From an engineering / design perspective, I notice that a number of these scooters have the deck below the level of the wheel hubs.
That's going to make them inherently more stable since you're effectively "hanging" below the wheel centres rather than balancing above them.

In the UK we are supposed to be leaders in protecting climate change. Yet, we allow people to buy full size EVs that destroy environments to mine resources for their huge batteries, but we won't let people use small electric scooters that need a fraction of the resources and energy.

Just ordered my Pure Advance +. Looking forward to receiving it this week. The sale price makes it a killer deal. Charles x

I'd go with the Pure Advance+ no doubt!

15:53 DON'T use your arm to indicate; most scooters will fall over when you lose balance, keep your hands on handlebars at all times. Hope this saves your life!

After seeing the Jeep Camo I feel I might be constantly challenging SUVs to off-road races (think I'd win as well ✅).

Game on...

Oh I feel so sorry for all of you in the U.K.. Where I am in NYC although only UL (Underwriters Laboratories) certified personal electric vehicles can be purchased here as of 2023, there has been an influx of Electric Scooters here, I have 4 personally and ride them every day. The only time I had an issue with police is when I rode over the Williamsburg Bridge and exited the wrong way, I apologized to the officer and got off with a warning unlike others who got tickets. We need more bike/e-vehicle infrastructure here but have some with more coming, and with congestion pricing for motor vehicles in Manhattan, NYC is about to become a haven for PEV riders.

Ninebot should have definitely made it into this list. The Ninebot MAX G2 E and F2 Pro are definitely better than some of these models mentioned.

This was a helpful video, but there are some significant negatives about some of the scooters in this list. ❌️

The first scooter is so big that it may as well be a bike, at least you can have a comfortable seat and feel more secure on a bike. Most people choose to get scooters for their portability, which is a reason why a scooter that doesn't fold, such as the second one you recommended, won't be the best option for a lot of people.
The other scooters with bicycle type wheels you mentioned have similar portability issues.

A lot of people have complained about an issue with the Jeep scooter whereby it stops working permanently and an error message appears on the scooter's screen.

The Taur 2 looks really good, but Ride Taur haven't communicated with their Kickstarter backers for a long time—that raises concerns. For example, it might be difficult for customers to communicate with RideTaur after receiving the Taur 2 if issues arise with the scooter or if customers want to make a 'PayYourFine' claim.

They need to hurry up and legalise private escooters mines been sitting in doors since last year.

I feel like you need to make a coordinated campaign with all the other electro guys to get an electro micro mobility campaign going. For faster e-bikes and regulations brought up to date. As in, electro heads, Robert Llewellyns stuff, dale vinces stuff etc just get everyone to push for it together...

Great update, thanks. I liked the first scooter on show as it had 20" wheels. Does it have indicators, as that's one of the trickiest maneuvers (riding with one hand, whilst avoiding pot holes) Some of the others looked too small or out of proportion.

I had almost given up on E-scooters with the current uk legislation going nowhere, however I just found out about the Taur #payyourfine and it genuinely gave me a spark of hope. I am disabled and the commute to college is terrible with my physical health not being great, this could potentially save me a lot of trouble and help me a lot in the long term.

Buying a Zero 10X the 60v version, with two 1200w motors, hydraulic brakes, brilliant cantilever suspension and a 21ah battery.
And unlocked... a 70km/h top speed.

Which compares very favourably with all of the above, at only £1500.

Much better listening to a real human presenter of these products than listening to a computer voice !

What about the Segway F2 Pro? Perfect for commuting. Good range, good incline power and around that perfect price point of £500.

WOW, last year on Feb 1st, I bought an Okai BEETLE Electric Scooter from Best Buy, it was pure garbage, no range or power. After that in March I bought my e-bike from Ride the Glide here in Victoria BC Canada, I rode over 8, 000 km (nearly 5, 000 miles) since I bought my e-bike 10 months ago from Ride The Glide (RTG E Bikes). In a few weeks I will need to replace my brake pads, but my tires are still in good condition with thread still. Anyways, I saw that scooter you showed from Ride The Glide in person, it looks scary to ride in my opinion lol, but the manager said it's not and she said it's actually fun. Thank You for This Video 😎
