First electric scooter, I recommend getting the best one. It will be your favorite and you will use it for a very long time. Don't ever think you will get a better one later, you won't.

My first scooter was (and still is, I'm still using it) a Okai Neon 1

Compared a lot of scooter under 1k, found this one and needed something that make me visible at night since I'm coming back from work at around 10pm. This one had nice led strip on the front and bottom, lcd display and the motor is actually very good, able to climb hill without any problem (exept some steep one) and have regenerative braking applied automaticly if I pass 30km/h in a slope to bring me back to 25km/h which is actually very nice for safety, especially for new riders

Thanks for the in-depth reviews and comparisons guys! Thanks to this channels extensive real world testing, I landed on a Solar P1 2.0 and couldn't be happier. Great company, GREAT product and very responsive service as well. Definitely worth going with a responsive, service oriented company rather than the mass market Amazon stuff.

Something that I feel is overlooked are repair locations. Many compagnies offer to sell parts for your scooter if something breaks, but many people just don’t have the knowledge or are just too scared to mess it up. When that happens, people that can repair scooters are rare or just nonexistent. Appollo in canada has repair services at multiple locations, so I know that if something major breaks, I could always go there. Though, it’s better if nothing breaks because repairing is expensive

After 100 reviews i ended up with Ninebot Max G2. Price level ok, easy to get spare parts and i think the reliability is good. It should arrive on next week! Cant wait to get the first summer ride :)

I have the Emove Cruiser s, it is a great long range fun scooter . I am ready to get a Mantis King GT and then I can let my friends use my Cruiser s as it is a safe beginner scoot .

my 1st scooter was an Ausom Gallop (6 Months ago), today I'll be receiving my 2nd which is the Nami Burn E-2 Max. My plan is to continue to use the Ausom for offroad and Nami for longer and on-road fun. Life is good!

My first scooter was the Segway-Ninebot Max, because it seemed to be the best build quality and overall performance at that price point. I got it from a Dutch website (I'm in the UK) and ended up paying well over £100 LESS than if I'd bought it from a British vendor. Didn't get on wth the tubeless tyres though, as the seal between the valve and tyre wall kept breaking down... but only on the rear tyre (with the motor). Have been eyeing up the Emove Cruisers for nearly 3 years, and I'm glad I waited, because the new S model has the thumb throttle. Shame they've increased the top speed though; I'd never need to go more that 25mph, let alone 30, so that could have a cost saving measure.

I bought my first scooter a few weeks ago. I got the Hiboy Pro S2 for $400 U.S. I'm 240 lbs., moves me quite well, 20mpg on flat road, solid tires for worry-free riding. It's a bit rough on sidewalks and poor roads I can't see spending more on a scooter, then I may as well get a motorcycle.

My first scooter was an okai which was like a rental scooter you can see everywhere.

I had mantis 8 dual motor after I sold okai. I loved mantis 8 but got sick of the rear tire problems and sold it too. Besides I did not think it is so safe riding 30 mph on a 8-10 inch tire vehicle.

Finally I bought a brand new segway g30 max which is a rental scooter as well as my first scooter.

I bought ninebot because I started to think these scooters should not be faster than 20 mph and not supposed to be heavier than 20 kg.

I bought my first e-scooter based on build quality and reliability. So for me the Segway g30 LP was my first choice. Just a few days ago I picked up the Segway ninebot S. Then the plan so far goes to the E-move cruiser w/seat --- $1500, start e-bike journey to include my kids with LECTRIC Utility ebike --- $1700 or RadioFLYER Utility --- $2200, then something wacky like the JACKRABBIT $1000, then the ISINWHEEL fat ebike $800 and then go a little faster ride in an E-move Roadrunner Pro --- $2200, then get on the MEEPO or ISINWHEEL skateboard --- $500 and Endeavor2Pro --- $2000, then a Magwheel similar to Onewheel --- $1200, then to a REVV1 similar to Super73 --- $2500, then to Inmotion V12 EUC --- $2500, then up it to an Extreme Bull K6 --- $5000 and then top it off with a crazy WEPED Sonic/cyberfold/foldcampo --- $8000 and Dualtron Limited --- $8000 for giggles.

Basically all these are less than the cost of a new Tesla Model Y ~50k post $7500 tax credit. How does those stack up as my ultimate garage bundle? Different styles for different moments in loife. Berri No-ICE.

How would I persuade my parents to allow me to save up for an electric scooter? They hate electric scooters and would definitely say no. How do I change their minds?

I ride a South Korea-made analogue of Emove Cruiser and love it. The best combination of speed, weight, price, and overall utility.

I owned a NIU kqi3 max for about 15 days before the throttle broke and I got the 03 error. I tried to reach out multiple times to get the scooter fixed but I got no response after 5 days. I ended up just returning it to best buy. For a two year warranty as one of there main selling points I am quite disappointed. For the time I had it it was okay. Range was around 12-15 miles on a full battery which compared to the stated range is horrible. Speeds were good around 21-22 mph. Don't know If I just had a really bad experience or other people had this happen as well. I would probably not recommend this because of this. Great video though, definitely want another scooter just don't want another experience like that!
