"You show my daughter a good time, just not too good." He did manage to fit in a little "dad talk" after the "I'll kill you" talk. Usually, those talks go the other way.

Man that was probably one of the most chilling scenes in the MCU. No violence, no action of any kind. Just a calm and utterly cold-blooded death threat.

The Loser Mysterio
- Is a snitch
- is a villain because rich man stole his invention
- Fakes being a hero
- Has a fishbowl head
- Not a cool dad
V.S.
The Chad Vulture
- is not a snitch
- is a villain to feed his family
- Doesn't fake being a hero
- Has a cool helmet
- Cool dad

This comment is just a joke. I love them both

"Don't let him intimidate you"

Girl your dad is Michael Keaton, it's not a question of if I'm terrified, it's a question of how much am I terrified

That's what I loved about Michael Keaton's Vulture. He quickly figured out Peter was Spider-Man, he passively but firmly warned and threatened him, and then still respected him enough to say "Go show my daughter a good time." He did care about his wife and daughter, and it showed. I hope they bring his character back in someway

I think my favorite thing about this scene is that it's not only a fantastic performance from Keaton, but that it's a GREAT representation of what a vulture actually does, preying on a being at it's weakest and most vulnerable.

That's how you make a scary villain: there's no need to show superpowers or supertechnology, just show how he dominates the situation.

Michael Keaton can turn from charming to menacing in an instant. One of our greatest living actors.

1:03 Genius cinematography right here. Waiting at the red light as he pieces everything together, and as soon as it clicks, the light turns green. A literal lightbulb moment. God, this sequence is one of the best in the whole mcu.

Even in this universe, he's the world's greatest detective.

He's scarier as Liz's dad than as Vulture.

Imagine if Peter wasn't actually Spiderman and he was just saying this to some innocent teenager

Michael Keaton is criminally underrated. Absolutely needed more screen time, and more villain roles. As intimidating with his tone, small facial expressions, and subtle menacing implications as any large hulking over-the-top villain.

I love how Toomes is being all out terrifying in this moment but Liz doesn't even notice. It's like, oh yeah, my dad talks like this all the time.

Vulture: "I'll kill you dead."

Peter Dinklage: "Yes... that's what killing you means..."

Michael Keatons acting is superb in this scene especially

To me, Michael Keaton's acting rivals Willem Dafoe's acting concerning the Spider-Man franchise. Both send chills up my spine.

This was, for real, a very scary moment for Peter. The villains finding out his secret, is not something that he has dealt with, up to this point. For Peter to hear the way Vulture nonchalantly threatened his life like that, would have been extremely nerve-wracking for him, since he IS still just a kid, having to learn that there are, in fact people like Adrian Toomes in the world.
