when he started to panic, it really freaked me out. that is the kind of thing any of us would do for real.

It really felt like a kid fearing for his life, props to Tom Holland

His acting here is REALLY good. You can really feel his fear when he’s panicking and screaming for help

They nailed the fact that while he is Spider-man, he is also still a kid. Even with his abilities he still has the natural fears and doubts that kids go through as they grow up.

If I recall, Stan Lee wrote Spider- Man to show that a kid didn't have to be a sidekick, he could be a hero too. This scene perfectly captured that. Peter is just a kid, but he rises above that to be the hero his city needs.

I laugh at the thought that Peter's classmates, Michelle, Flash and everyone has no idea how much pain Peter has been through, like they're all mostly enjoying Homecoming at the moment, and Peter's screaming in pain and crying under a building

“No matter how many times I get hit, I ALWAYS get back up.”

That genuinely sounded like Peter was having a panic attack. This was such a great scene, one of, if not the best in the MCU.

in an alternate universe, peter straight up dies here, imagine how dark that’d be

Now this is what I like about this part right here, when he's trapped under that rubble screaming for help this show's us he's not invincible like iron man, he's not a patriot like captain America, he's not mighty like thor, or incredible like hulk he's only a kid and just like us he can still get hurt and fear's he's gonna die.

Dang, Tom Holland is a really good actor

This is probably the scene people who say “Holland is not Spider-Man, he always needs iron man help and high tech” forgot, we literally see the essence of spider-man in the whole third act of the movie yet people keep spitting the same about Mcu spidey adaptation

Coming back to this scene after seeing NWH. You can really see how they've developed this version of Peter and this was the first hint of that. This scene made me a believer and it feels so good to see what hes become.

This 21 year old is one of the best actors in the MCU

This is the most accurate spider man. A kid who’s scared and turns to help for adults once in a while when they are scared. I like Tobey and Andrew but something about Tom is just so inspiring and real.

Fun fact: They didn't have the budget to lift the rubble using machines and effects so Tom Holland actually had to lift thousands of pounds for this scene to work! What a strong guy!

A lot of non comic book fans said this was the cheesiest part of the movie. I couldn't disagree more. This is my favorite moment in the entire film and clearly an homage to Amazing Spider-Man #33.

This scene is amazing because at the end of the day he is just a 15 year old boy
