He also mentions in his videos that he is not a certified trainer, and if it's working for him then there is no need to make a video on this, saket have experience of quite a few years and it is quite visible from his physique.

Bro most of us usually train traps and rear delts with the shoulder so it also covers almost the upper back.while the left is covered with rowing. So i also think that the vertical and horizontal pull would be enough. As doing 5 exercises could also lead to the overtraining for most of the people.

1 - lats pull down wide grip
2 - machine rows
3 - lat pull down close grip
4 - smithmachine deadlift or lats pull over
5 - shrugs
( 3 sets of each exercise and possing is necessary after workout to unlock the maximum mobility of muscles)😊❤❤

horizontal row also trains your mid traps when you stretch the back fully(depending on the technique you can hit diff muscles). That’s why it works for Saketh, he doesn’t need much upper back training since one horizontal row is enough for him to grow, but for most people also including a tbar row for upper back to hit upper traps is a good choice.

Bent over barbell row will eliminate the requirement of doing a separate exercise for lower back. It will train spinal erectors aswell. Instead of advising people against doing that exercise altogether, I think people should rather be advised to do it with proper form and technique to minimise the risk of injury. It's really a very good exercise with many benefits overall which outweigh the risk so to speak

The thing he has mentioned is for beginners. No muscles work in isolation.
So the other muscles engage with these movements
What you are saying is correct but more useful for a medium to advanced trainer who has experience of lifting for 1-2 years.

I agree, saket's plan is good for begineers to lay the foundation and condition the body.
I agree with your plan and not everyone can handle such work volume as a newbie for back and time is also a major factor for such workouts.

Traps can be trained with shoulders so can be upperback. Deadlift can be trained in legs day saket is not completely wrong

He trains for aesthetics
He has left power lifting like he did before
So according to him those two movements are enough to train Major part of the back leaving some minor muscles untrained which might not account for the overall aesthetics
Like rhomboids or teres
And he has said once that his traps are pretty much developed that he doesn’t want to train them more
