Third & final part of our Holland America dinner food four & review at the main dining room. This episode showcases some of the best entrees from our July back-to-back HAL cruises, including the Gold Gala, Blue Gala, and the farewell night of the cruise. All the food you see in the video are complimentary, included with your cruise fare.

00:59 Night 6
08:34 Night 7
13:59 Gold Gala
19:25 Blue Gala
24:00 Final Night of cruise

Please note that the dinner menu for day 7 actually had 2 variations from our back to back cruises- one had shrimp tacos and Prime Rib, while the other had steamed asparagus and Beef Stroganoff that was similar to day 5.

BTW, the second formal night was the Gold Gala, but because our second cruise was 14 days, Holland America added another formal night, and that was the Blue Gala.

She is so adorable! Love how much she likes food, Her "perfect bites" and especially when she doesn't like it. Her description helps understand why and if you would think the same. I am mostly vegetarian, but will eat fish if its really good. I trust her judgment on the fish and since she usually really likes the vegetarian dishes too i can see it would be wonderfully difficult choice. I'm not used to having choices. Excellent and helpful video for me.

Can’t go wrong with beef tenderloin! The ox tails look exquisite!

Another super video! It's so much fun to see the variety of food. We see lots of dishes that can be made vegan just by removing the cheese. I'm going to recommend your videos to all of my vegan groups so they can do the same.
Your wife has such a sophisticated palette. Then there's that cute smile when she's not impressed. Lol. I love that you're showing your son the world. He's going to be such a sophisticated man.
Thanks again for your precious time. We appreciate your videos very much.

Now *THIS* is cruise food. I wish every cruise line would pay such close attention to their food offerings. The oxtails definitely stand out to me, but there were so many more dishes here that I would jump on as well. Come to think of it, the calf’s liver looked amazing. Also, anything with lamb and mint sauce I am a huge fan of. Even the vegetarian dishes looked sensational. I’m just so impressed with what I see here. I’ve been mulling over doing an HAL cruise, but I think to get the best food experience I’m going to have to opt for a 10-day or longer cruise. It just needs to happen 😅

I've watched all 3 videos. The garlic and oil pasta dish had SHRIMP in it! That's not right. It was great to see the complimentary dishes. I don't feel compelled to go to specialty restaurants. Thank you!

I'll be on the Koningsdam in two weeks, and just wanted to say how helpful your food videos and reviews are as I decide what to eat. The insights into the flavors are very relatable and honest.

I watch a lot of food tv. I appreciate how she honestly describes the food. I’ve noticed that she’s not a big fan of cruise dining crème brûlée. I’ve never seen a truly positive review of brûlée.

So many delicious looking dishes and they all look so fancy! Love your cruise food reviews. Thanks for sharing and always appreciate your excellent work in making the videos as I understand how much work it takes to make those videos with great details. ❤

I am so happy to have found these videos. Your commentary was so enjoyable to watch, and I am eager to order items on my next cruise that I never would have tried.
I would love to watch the video you mention at the end of this series about the food towards the end of a 10+ day cruise, but I cannot find it. Have you posted it yet?

Escargot is one of my absolute all-time favorite dishes that I have on a cruise! The best part is mopping up all of that garlicky butter goodness with some bread or a roll from the bread basket! A real treat! Can’t wait to try that!

Ok, I'm drooling! And I still have 119 days to wait. Definitely giving me that much more to look forward to in June.

That's what cruise food should be like. Wow.

Hopefully HAL watches your videos and makes the necessary changes to some of their dishes for better customer satisfaction. Crème brûlée at the top of the list!

Holland America should use your photos for a cookbook! They’re so well done! Really captured everything! Outstanding work!😊

Everything was plated so elegantly. It’s so nice to see that HAL still cares about their presentation. As soon as I saw “Grand Marnier Crème Brûlée” on the menu I knew it was going to be bad. Alcohol RUINS creme brûlée and I don’t understand why the chef lets this abomination continue. I’m sorry Joanne had to endure even one bite of it. 😕 The crispy shrimp with jasmine rice was my favorite. Thanks for another wonderful video!

Absolutely love your videos and commentary is making me so excited for my trip and helping me decide what I should order or where to get food with my needs. Do you know if they cater to dietary needs like garlic and gluten intolerances in dinning or is it better to go to the lido market and try and find food there?

Overall it looks really good. I'm assuming you were not getting 'appetizer sized entrees'. It looks like they've done some portion shrinkage, but I can handle that if the quality is still there. I'll definitely get an extra appetizer on my next Hal. Often we make a final stop in the lido anyway for another dessert.
