Sum of N term of GP

Suppose a, ar, ar², ar³,……ar^n-1 is the given Geometric Progression.

Then the sum of n terms of GP is given by:

Sn = a+ar+ar²+ ar³+…+ar^n-1

The formula to find sum of n terms of GP is:

Sn = a[(r^n-1)/(r-1)] if r ≠ 1
