I just went through one 30 pound can of pennys that my mom has probably since I was a kid. I’m 43 now and I found probably 30 to 40 penny’s with these dates on them and some look copper and I also have them that was not struck on the center and many 1970’s that look better than new and even copper

had a scale win I met my future ex-wife. didn't need to weigh her on it because she was slim. 20 years later, after I finally weigh her on it and it broke 😢. I can't rely on the tolerance of her or my scale. I have to make one out of cardboard nowadays because my scale and I are broke. been chasing and hunting for the last 55 years.

I have a ¹⁄₁₀₀₀g resolution scale, and I weigh all my 83s, because you just never know. My understanding is that 1989-D and 1990-D also had a similar 3.11g Cu error.

Hey Rob I have almost a complete business struck cent collection it's about four books all the way up to 2023. And the 1982 complete set. There are I think around a dozen from p and D. There are both from each copper and zinc. All are uncirculated. I can't send them to show you the page with every coin minted both with and without zinc. Both large and small date coins. Where can I show you the dates and copper and zinc types.
