I think iOS 7 was a little bizarre due to the fact that some icons, while still being flat, were also pretty detailed like the camera and FaceTime to name a few.

The android icons feels like, really great, i just don't know how to describe, it feels like the icons pop out of your screen, i'm gonna be honest, android 4.4 icons are way better than iOS 7 in my opinion

Android 4.4 has a better app icons than iOS 7 because the Android 4.4's app icon is more realistic.

The Android icons vs iOS 7 look like they’ve actually spent some time and taken care in making the icons visually appealing. iOS 7 icons looked like they belonged on a cheap knock off phone OS.
