Grisly details emerge on family whose SUV plunged off Northern California cliff

More than a year after the Hart family SUV plunged into the Pacific Ocean from a California cliff, officials shared the grisly details of their deaths in the opening day of a coroner's inquest. CBS affiliate KOIN-TV's Trevor Ault reports.

I thought the story was going to conclude with unknown reasoning, I did NOT expect it to be revealed the driver was intoxicated/passenger was sedated as were the kids and they'd been reported to CPS multiple times leading up to it....combined with the no signs of stopping at a cliff edge ( not certain death) with like 5 adopted kids?....That's movie level dark. These two women are cowards for killing themselves and their children. They didn’t want to face the consequences of the abuse their children suffered and didn’t want to be held accountable for their actions. The children didn’t deserve to die. It annoys me when their family and friends say they were so good to the children and were a happy family but they weren’t. How do you explain the children sneaking out of the house to ask for food or to tell the neighbors not to tell their parents because they didn’t want to go back? It’s because there was something wrong and they were being abused. The neighbors should’ve opened their eyes and done more to help. They would’ve still be here. Like what if it was their child or friend? They would’ve done something. They deserved to live in a loving home but not with these two women. I don’t know why they decided to abuse them but if they were alive, they should’ve been in prison for the rest of their lives. They’re evil for what they did to those innocent children. Starving them as punishment? They don’t feed them but they probably fed themselves and probably ate in front of them to torture them which is just so mean.

I just read about this on another news channel. I’m not surprised that this horrible tragedy has happened once again. It proves what I’ve been saying for years, “you just can’t trust anyone.” I cannot imagine what those children were thinking, my heart goes out to them. The article said that some of the kids had asked for help, what happened to those people? They should be punished for not doing anything.

American pay high taxes in such a way that portions of tax monies can be used in boarding orphan children nationwide in residential complexes with enough supervisors and care givers including nannies, cooks, case managers, tutors, psychiatrists, trainers, and so on. A residential case manger and a nanny should be given an appartment/house and be assigned accordingly a caseload of orphan children and a list of duties to fulfill daily and/or weekly. Supervisors must follow up with case managers via regular visits and phone calls; and administrators should meet with staff periodically to solve problems and revise, change, add terms and services.

They came out as lesbians, and were applauded for doing so, and adopted
these poor young girls. When they could not prevent the truth coming out
about thier abuse to these children, the children had to pay yet again
for the autorities blindness to some adoptive parents motives. They paid
with their lives. And still 'the powers that be', are looking to give
adoption rights to known peodophiles. It apears now that children today
only have the right NOT to be disciplined or guided in what not to do,
by their true parents. But are otherwise being groomed and taught
about things that children should not yet be concerned with, in schools,
to be abused by anyone who would care to do so.
