Disclaimer: Put fabric through your printer at your own risk. I have done this countless times with no problems but you have to be aware that printers are not designed for printing fabric or inserting freezer paper. In testing how to make your own clothing labels, I recommend using on an old, cheap printer. Proceed at your own risk!

I heavily starched my fabric, ironed it to crispness, then ran it through the printer with no problem. I used Word to create the label message and printed as usual for paper.

I use printer sticker sheets, they stick beautifully to the fabric. You can usually buy it quite cheaply at dollar stores.

Ok, when I tried this the fabric got stuck in my printer too!! WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! I will try again and make sure the fabric is really attached well and see how it goes! Thanks for this video!

Are you using an inkjet printer for this? (If the ink cartridges are under $30, it's an inkjet). I can't imagine it's a laser jet? (As someone who used to sell toner and married a copier salesman, these are things someone like me thinks of 🤣). I have a laser jet, and I don't want to ruin it; it's an expensive printer... But I would consider buying a cheesy inkjet at the thrift store to try this out. This is a great idea!
