Kanasu means "a dream" in Kannada. Designed for a conventional Indian family, the main idea was to create a structure such that nature flows into the interior spaces.

Planned on the principles of Vastu Shastra, the spaces spread vertically and meet one another through interconnections, fostering interactions. The home, placed between two trees, follows a warm and minimal material palette.

Principal Architect Rajesh Shivaram explains the design concept behind this house that bridges luxury with closeness to nature.

Great execution. I love how he was easily able to story tell between the trace overlays. Rarely do architects show you the backgrounds of their design like this aside just talking and showing the finished product. Pen to paper is where the design happens.
