My mom was born in Italy, in Calabria, and I’ve been wanting to learn for the longest to connect to my heritage and to connect more to my madre

Thank you for a great job! Duolingo should pay YOU for making their lesson understandable!

I amusing Duolingo, as a free programme, for learning Italian and it has been fine so far....until it came to the lesson on clitics. As a free user pupils were offered virtually no explanation on the meaning or the use so your video has helped enormously. Thank you.

i have looked all over youtube and by far your lessons are the best, they're easy to absorb and doesn't require too much mental exertion as the other videos do.

Using Duolingo, I was having the hardest time using direct or indirect pronouns. I got a lot of it right, but that was more chance than understanding. Luckily, I found your videos and I'm doing much better. When I make a mistake, at least now I know why I was wrong. Grazie mille.

I miei nonni erano siciliani, anche mio papà aveva parlato siciliano. Purtroppo, non posso fare loro domande. Questo mi aiuta davvero.

Thank you for your efforts to present this subject. I am looking forward to viewing all of your presentations. This was the first time I accessed your and I subscribed to your site. You were concise, and clear and I understood better the point of grammar. Mille grazie.

I discovered your videos a couple of years ago when I was trying to learn Italian using Duolingo. Your videos have helped my Italian learning immeasurably! Duolingo is a great free program, but it has limitations. Your videos have really helped me with my pronunciation, have expanded my knowledge of basic, practical Italian, and have helped me understand the grammatical rules for Italian. I cannot thank you enough! If you need any suggestions for additional video topics, please consider making videos on: (1) how to use molto, tanto, and troppo properly; and (2) how to use the present perfect tense (passato prossimo). Thanks again!

Hi! Thank you so much for your videos! I'm trying to understand a little bit more about DO-IO and RP, could you please tell me which are the other videos you were talking about in this one? TIA

So if I'm understanding correctly. DOP would be like he, she, me, etc and IOP would be him, her. For example: Lo manca la sua famiglia. He misses his family
Vs.
La sua famiglia gli mancano. His family misses him?
Is that correct? Im not sure if it just clicked for me finally or if im still lost with when to use DOP or IOP.
