Good video, thanks. I’ve shopped am at both stores a lot and I enjoy the Aldi experience much more, but the problem is that you can never get everything you need, so you end up having to go to Walmart or somewhere else anyway, which costs time and fuel. Plus at Walmart you have the whole rest of the store, so if you need a TV or camping supplies or whatever else, you can get that too.

Walmart has more products to offer. Aldi's product selection is limited and the prices are not lower in Minneapolis

Aldi will consistently have better quality food on top of lower prices.

It’s not just price but it’s also the taste for me. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t care for Aldi packaged foods, but I do like their cheese as it tastes better than Walmart Great Value.

For a full shopping cart, Walmart and Aldi are about the same. When I buy fewer items, the more Aldi comes out on top.

Were the Aldi prices sourced from Instacart? If so then the in-store pricing from Aldi is even lower as there is additional markup when using Instacart.

I mostly stop at Safeway and sometimes at Fry's or Walmart. I use my American express for all food items. I get 5% when shopping at all the grocery stores except Walmart and Winco. Winco doesn't except credit card so no points there. Since food is like the most expensive budget item beside a mortgager the points add of fast. After a month os buying groceries I have about $40 of points to use anyway I want. Walmart doesn't restock the shelves fast enough so I find several items I can't buy and have to go somewhere else. Safeway has most everything we need.

Aldi is cheaper in some towns but in other towns they do not have the same quality products, some things are way cheaper but taste is different and slightly less tasty.9Crackers, popcorn, sodas, meal bars etc…) There is always a few things not available in Aldis which make you go into another grocery store!!!… I just did the comparison yesterday day and I only saved 85 cents at aldis versus going to a neighborhood Walmart.I dont think LAdis will be able to keep up their previous low pricing with the food price increase! I’m know looking into bulk stores and bulk buying to save money, and maybe getting a large freezer to preserve things longer! I do not not do canning so I think for regular folks with no time, reeling and bulk buying might me the new savvy method to save money on groceries, gas and time!
