I wasn't that old when I remember that my grandmother use to sing this song to me in the 60s
I do know she only 66 years old when she died from a blood clot
Today she wouldn't have passed..she always watched Johnny Rivers when on TV. After she passed away I went numb. Leaving all memories behind me. That reminded me of her; including Johnny Rivers. Except Rockin pneumonia and the boogie woogie Flu. I was rebellious n always in trouble. At 18 I had my first child. But I remembered him accidentally on here, singing Slow Dancing " n Oh my goodness 😳 I totally remembered some of his songs from the first time I heard him on my transistor radio 📻 😅 singing Mountain of Love ❤. For me then that was his signature song.My Papa said used to play it on his 🎸 n sing it to me. In 2004 he said I don't know who Johnny Rivers is or that song. I was angry n I was mad at him. He passed in 2010. We never talked to each other again bc totally forgotten it. 😔 I feel bad bad for getting angry over that. I was under 8 years old. First time I heard him, I 😍 loves him at 8 years old
