Next steps, transferring hand gestures/ movements and then total wire-frame adaptation. Where you hopefully can control the whole character and maybe edit and fine tune movements at a wire frame level. 2025 is going to be wild!

Have you seen any good examples of this type of capture, being used with a head rig and AI/video body mocap? The pieces are coming together...1, 2, 3 years? ;-)

It's hard to feel enthusiastic about this after spending thousands on equipment and investing 4 years learning Unreal and supporting tools only to have it all left pointless by tech that anyone can pick up with no prior knowledge and get to where I am after all I've invested.

Although cool, the biggest issue with this service and any that come after it…is censorship, and I am not talking about the obvious stuff. Because these service can ultimately decide on what is “good” and “bad”, it will also be limiting to the small creators…I am sure enterprise clients will get unlimited control.

Not worth the price, by the time you get the effect you are looking for, your credits are gone faster than expected. Even the simplest algorithm that Gen-2 offers to generate animations from images doesn't do well, literally every 4 or 5 animations are usable, the rest go in the bin. When I asked on discord if they can improve this algorithm, they told me no, but I can buy a more expensive subscription lmao. This is making a laughing stock of the customer. If Runway is the best on the market then imagine how rubbish the competition must be.
