Love simon talking the business of football, not as much of a fan of his actual on-field footballing opinions. Bringing up the "trent defending" argument is such a tabloid argument. How do you finish on 97 points and concede just 22 goals, followed by 99 points and again have the best defensive record in the league, when you just play a back 4 and one of those 4 can't defend...?
He might not be AS good defensively as james, but he's still solid. While at the other end of the pitch it's not remotely CLOSE. there isn't another right back in the world who can even touch him when it comes to what he can do with the ball. He's the best offensive right back since Dani Alves in his absolute prime
