Surely the green light on the Sonoff shouldn’t be on permanently I have loads of these particular models and they never light up after you turn it off

Can it be used to control WiFi router, meaning to say I can control the WiFi connection at anytime. If that is so what I mean is I can off it when the WiFi is on but when the WiFi router is off how can I on back the WiFi. Will it be able to work on when the router is off?

These are total rubbish, order four of these, spent 3 days trying to get them discovered by the phone so they could then be connected to the Alexa. Not one of them worked. Follow the instructions exactly, watched Youtube video after Youtube video. Tried three different methods. Sent them back. A pile of shit...
