Everton will NEVER get relegated, it seems, as they avoid the drop in a dog-fight again this Premier League season.

Sam Matterface is joined by Alex Crook & Kevin Hatchard to debate how Everton must rebuild, as well as the chances of relegated Leicester & Leeds in the Championship.

They also discuss Dortmund's title collapse and dish out some end of season awards.

The GAMEDAY Podcast is sponsored by @ladbrokes.

As an Everton supporter, we can get relegated 💯. There is no such idea in my mind that we cannot get relegated.

You can question Moshiri's commitment. Washing money for Usmanov and not giving a sh!# about the club, not going to the games, lying about not being for sale, and promising a striker all whilst being the front for Usmanov is not showing a commitment to the club! Crook is meant to have an insight!

As Everton fan I disagree that we will never get relegated no club is too big to go down no team in PL is entitled to play in this league. To stay in PL you have be really good side I’m so greatfull we survived if you keep flirting with relegation it’s going to catch you in the end

Yerry mina and doucore saved everton. Lampard left doucoure on the bench and reserve just showed how incompetent he is as manager.

Leicester City got relegated despite winning the league in the last decade, Newcastle and Aston Villa finished in the top 7 this season but have been relegated several times between them, if it can happen to these clubs it can happen to Everton 100%

It’s not the last few years! It’s last season and this season and that’s it since 20+ years ago. I don’t know why everyone’s going on like we’ve been fighting relegation year in year out. Finished 12 the season before last and 8th the season before that and top half finishes for many years before that. Rafa came in and messed everything up, got rid of players and didn’t have a clue and we’ve spiralling since he came along.

"We're too good a side to get relegated!".
That's what United fans bragged in '74...just before being relegated!

To the guy on the right. You focus on how unfortunate that Netto wasn't playing. You forget Everton have all 4 wing backs injured and their one and only striker out as well.

I wanted Everton to stay up but u can’t simply say they won’t get relegated. They have avoided relegation by scrapping it. Facts are if u keep playing with fire u will get burnt. Everton need to massively improve 👍🏼👍🏼

Getting away with it, season after season?
In 69 years Everton's fate has only been decided three times on the last day of the season. The last time was 25 years ago. In the past 69 years, Liverpool, Man U, Man C, Chelsea, Spurs, Aston Villa, Newcastle and West Ham have all been relegated, with many of those clubs multiple times.

One third of the clubs in the four divisions have never ever played Everton in a league game.

*_Facts_* are wonderful things.

Moshiri what a football business man NOT Enjoy the following mind boggling signings:
Yannick Bolasie £28 Million Cenk Tosun £27 Million Theo Walcott £20 Million Henry Onyekuru £7 Million (never played or got a work permit) Ademola Lookman £11 Million Morgan Schneiderlin £20 Million Davy Klaassen £24 Million Gylfi Sigurdsson £45 Million Ashley Williams £12 Million Jean-Philippe Gbamin £25 Million (played just 10 games) Fabian Delph £9 Million (always injured)
Moise Kean £30 Million (loaned out was that bad)

They can't do anything to Everton simply because the Premier league would have to do Manchester city also which they won't do.

Usually teams that flirt with relegation for a few seasons eventually go down.

If it happened to Newcastle United and Leicester City it can happen to any team including Everton

If the Leeds team of 03/04 and Newcastle 07/08 can go down so could Everton. The last minute goals against Chelsea Tottenham Wolves saved them in the end. They got away with it for the second year running. They'll struggle again next season if they aint careful over the summer.
