This song is in honor of the Shipka epic, when in 1877 the Russian soldiers and Bulgarian volunteers held the strategically important Shipka Pass. The Russians and the Bulgarians have no ammunition and start throwing bodies of dead soldiers and stones at the Turks, so you can hear the word "body" in the text. The battle was decisive for the whole war, that's why this victory is so important.

This song is about the russo-turkish war at 1877-1878 . During this war Bulgaria got indepenced from Ottoman empire. The battle of Shipka is one of the most important battles during the war . 5 500 Russian and Bulgarian soldiers vs 30 600 Turkish soldiers. Russians and bulgarians won 🇧🇬🤝🇷🇺🤜🇹🇷
