Support, strengthen and sustain is a GREAT catch phrase.

Additionally, the AAFP has a golden opportunity in COVID crisis to root our advocacy in VALUES of the AAFP - health as a human right; and coverage for ALL, rooted in foundational primary care - policy values adopted and codified at COD of 2018 and 2019.

I encourage ALL AAFP members who contact their legislators to BEGIN with our VALUES: we believe in health as a human RIGHT; and support universal access to timely, acceptable, and affordable health care that is FOUNDATIONAL in primary care.

I INVITE our BOD to ADOPT such phrasing into all 'public forward' advocacy of the AAFP, to wit:
"AAFP, which represents 136, 700 family physicians and medical students across the country, and is the only specialty dedicated entirely to primary care, believes that health is a human right, and advocates for universal access to care that is foundational in primary care..."

Now that's a HOOK to get a politician to listen....
