The elimination of health disparities will not be achieved without first acknowledging racism’s contribution to health and social inequalities. Join the AAFP on Monday, June 22 for “The Public Health Crisis of Racism”, a special community discussion on the association between racism and health outcomes, implementing practice skills that identify and address racial trauma in the clinical setting, and ways to engage with community partners to advance strategies that advance racial equity in the community.

These online Town Hall discussions are so severely needed. This topic is rarely talked about within such a diverse group. My personal opinion is that what would help to eliminate racism is the removal of barriers to Black and Brown People. Be Fair to ALL, . Including Black and Brown People. Fairness in hiring..Scholarships for Interns and students of Color as well as the rest of the vast diversity of candidates. There's more than enough wealth for everyone.
