Hey Guys!! Today I've got a review of my Cowboy 3 Replacement, the Trek Domane + LT Electric Roadbike. I'll be going through the good and the not so good. I'll also be talking about the Fazua electric motor which, in my opinion, is the best electric motor available for road bikes at the moment.

I know you mentioned the modes in the comments I bought mine used noticed that there were four modes just looking to see in which order they were. It looks like there’s a light blue or white mood a green, blue and purple. Thanks for the help you have on them.

hey i´m a mechanic and i can tell you that most bike stores are having too much work this year, even now we are booked up until november. i´ll guess that might be the same at your dealer, so if you want to fix these two issues by yourself here you go. 1: to tape down your handlebartape, just use regular electrical tape and 2: to be able to shift down, there are two little screws on the derailleur. one is for the high gear and one is for the low gear. try to shift down and then loosen the L-screw with a 2mm inbus key. if the derailleur is moving down, your chain should also follow. if that doesn´t work, you might wanna try loosen the shift cable. normally there should be a thicker piece of plastic on the outside of the shifting cables. if you turn it to the left it tensions that cable and if you turn it to the right it will loosen it. so if your shifting cable is to tight your derailleur wouldn´t go down until you loosen it up a little. hopeully it all makes sense, cause i´m from germany :D

Shame they won’t let you have the assist up to 28mph like here in the US. That 20-28mph window is more real world useful and more fun, too. I’m very impressed that little motor puts out 60nm, that’s very good.

Just an FYI I got my partner a new bicycle from specialized in Australia, we had the exact same issue and they fixed it free of charge. The bike was perfect when we did the fitting, then when we took it home same issue as you, as it turns out the kids enjoy turning the adjustment screws when left unsupervised (same might have happened to yours) I hope they took good care of you!! Enjoy your new bike

thanks for the informative vid, i ordered a MTB Trek Powerfly 4 they say might be ready by April, but after watching this vid, this will be my next buy. I think I like this better than the Specialized Turbo Creo since the battery is removable for cold weather i can keep it in the house and not take the whole bike for storage just like the Powerfly. I'll go with the HP since that one can assist up to 28 mph (class 3) since group rides are averaging 25 so 20mph limit is not enough. Otherwise I'll be left out when it's flat because our analog bikes are much lighter. Saving.

Just got my LOOK E-765 Optimum. Similar to your TREK, Same Fazua battery pack but US spec, 20MPH. My LOOK has the wireless remote control on the handlebar, so you don't have to look down to make changes..

I used to have a black Brooks on my domane but it's a tiny bit kooky... but who cares what people think when you're comfortable.

Now that you have this bike for a while do you regret not getting the HP versus the LT? I’m trying to decide about should get the HP or the LT

Nice review. How much effort would you say you need to put in to go 20km/h in Rocket mode? More or less than the Cowboy with highest assist?

Hi Kian, a good review. I'm interested in such a bike for my wife.
I saw the size is a 56cm version. We'll probably need a 50cm one.
And you mentioned the weight is 13.6Kg.
is that all in? The way you showed it, or is it the factory weight without pedals.
I know the 58cm one weighs 14.7Kg. I wonder if there can be this difference in one size change?

The bike is good, but how do you manage when it rains and what about carrying bag to school?

Can I buy another battery/motor or do I have to buy another bike to get one?

I have a gravel bike with the same Fazua motor. Mine is making a really annoying rattle noise when I go over potholes. I think it's coming from the drive shaft in the crank. Have you noticed any rattling on yours?
