So important! I had a yoga instructor that had another phrase that helped me a lot. She'd say to imagine zipping up your abs, and then buttoning them. I don't know why, but it really helped me focus on engaging my abs all the way

Thanks for the video! Does the same technique hold when we're lifting weights over our head, like in full thrusters or single-arm snatches? I notice that I hyperextend my back during those exercises as well sometimes. Or am I just trying to lift weights that may be too heavy for me?
