I decided to create a new account last year since my old account from 2014 is lost, and now I'm at TH12 again.

Hey a Th16 here and eventou I'm not maxed yet I'm closing in on it and all i can say is please enjoy the journey and don't think about how it is here at the top because honestly it's pretty boring and i wish i was a townhall 9 again that one was actually pretty fun

In years, progression has never been as fast as it has been now. Even F2P, Supercell makes changes they could profit from massively, but they don't (Chests as Lootboxes, more intriguing gold pass, etc.).
I'm fully F2P. The only thing that I've ever bought was skins. That's no advantage for my progression. I've been playing since 2016 both on and off for months and sometimes years at a time. Catching up today takes about 2-3 years of semi-active upgrading, F2P. With all of the events, even F2P players get a lot of loot and ore and the changes recently made it better than ever. Chests have given me over 80 starry ore already. That's highly unlikely to obtain, yet I did. It's insanely good.
But it's always been like that. I remember the time, when TH11 was the maximum TH level. When upgrades there took 2 weeks to finish. It's always been that slow the further you get, yet it's getting easier and easier to skip many upgrades with all updates that are being introduced.
I remember when I was happy to even get 40k elexir and gold, maybe 200 dark elexir with barch at TH9. The time when the Queen cost 40k and dark elexir was scarce.
Those times were tough, unlike today.

I stopped paying this when th12 was released, i may be wrong but the time most buildings take now was the same time that th7 or th8 buildings took when i playes this before (i'm th12 now), it's a surprise for me to see that i'm actually upgrading things that don't take me more than a day to upgrade (doesn't apply to all buildings).
Of course everyone has their own way to enjoy the game but i think that for most people the most enjoyable part of the game is the jouney to the end, not the end itself (i mean being maxed), so as long as they keep the upgrade times decreasing for lower town halls and adding new features as new town halls come to the game i don't think that maxing your base taking more time is a problem as the journey is the most fun part of this game

Great video but I fear F2P is next year going to get a major kicking by design. All I hear is money money are forgetting what kept them relevant over 12 considering just calling it a permanent

i think that the new part of the comunity is just impatient, they want everything maxed in a day. they want to max th16 and hero equipment as if it was meant to be a 1 week work.

Yes you want to be able to upgrade. But at the same time people don’t know how to properly attack. Lower TH and High. I think taking the time is the best bet. What’s the point of having a max TH if you suck. I’m in a champ 1 clan and I still see people not knowing how to play. Y’all should honestly just enjoy the ride. Join clans at your level. And become a 3 star specialist people can rely on. Been playing since 2014.

You want to be able to max out within a year meanwhile I've spent the past 10 years grinding clash just for some new player to catch up instantly? Yeah nah, I rather the game die then that happening. Y'all should suffer just as much as I did. All the time and price reductions are absolutely ridiculous and makes my grind feel meaningless. If you just started anytime in the last 3 years you shouldn't expect to ever max out unless you're willing to pay for it. Only fair for the people who have put so much time into the game.
