Salt in My Soul: An Unfinished Life

Diane Shader-Smith has been a writer, speaker, publicist, and fundraiser for 30 years working with Rogers and Cowan PR and independently. Her roster of past and present clients is extensive and includes products, personalities, services and celebrities during her multi-decade career.

She is more than 125 talks into a book tour for the posthumous memoir written by her beloved daughter Mallory.

"Salt in My Soul: An Unfinished Life by Mallory" is a compilation of Mallory’s journal entries that Shader-Smith read, condensed, and shared with Penguin Random House. They published it—calling Mallory’s work, “life-changing.”

The LA Times writes, “Mallory’s words inspire people facing impossible situations, help medical professionals better understand and deal with their patients, and raise money for cystic fibrosis research.”

Shader-Smith has raised more than 5 million dollars for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
