We're back in Chicago for Day 2 of our ongoing mission to find missing persons whose cases have gone cold. Today, our focus intensifies as we dive into the waters of the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal, following up on yesterday's discovery of 31 vehicles submerged and forgotten.

Today, you'll join us as we attempt to identify several vehicles associated with long-standing missing person cases. Among the vehicles we're searching for are:

- Alo Giminez, last seen driving a 2007 Toyota Highlander.
- Homer Sullivan, associated with a 2003 Mercury Grand Maris.
- Armando Gomez, reported missing with his 2009 Dodge Caravan.
- James Dove, who was driving a 2019 Chrysler 300.
- Martin Smith, last known to be in a black Dodge Journey.
- Christine Fitch, whose last known vehicle was a 2005 white Jeep Commander.

As we suit up and prepare for today's dives, we're reminded of the weight of our responsibility. Each vehicle we locate could potentially be the missing piece in a puzzle that has tormented families for years.

Thirty One Cars... found, marked, dove on and cleared. That is a great achievement, gentlemen!!! I hope none of the licence plates are linked to missing people... looked insanely difficult to recover any remains by the conditions of the cars.

I remember many people having cars stolen, only many years later those cars being found in the shipping canal. The canal was a dumping ground for years! Chicago is wonderful!

The authorities should be as impressed as we are at the great service AWP is providing.
As you've cleared those vehicles, the City of Chicago should then spent the money to thoroughly dredge those areas, & properly clean up each waterway so if any more go in, they'll be easily identified!

It's cool that you were here in Chicago, searching for people who have been missing. Just one small correction, that canal is called the sanitary& ship canal. ( you said sanitary and boat) That and the I&M canal ( illinois & Michigan) are historically interesting, as the engineers of those canals went on to build the Panama canal!
Both of these canals have a long history of being used by the mob to " diappear" people and their cars, by dumping both into one of the canals. One of our city's baseball players from the 60s-70s, had his wife disappear by having her dumped into the canal! I wish that both the city and the suburbs that surround this canal, would come up with the funds to remove all the cars from both canals and while we cannot erase our violent past, we can put all of its remains to rest! Thank you for searching for these missing people, I hope that you can find all of them! ❤
