I don't believe that the exterior sketch is representative of the next gen ES because that's barely different from the current model. I also refuse to believe that Lexus would be so lazy in updating its best-selling sedan.

My understanding is that none of the current dynamic force engine meet 2027 emissions requirements. I wouldn’t be surprised if the ES debuted the new line of turbo-4s. My guess is we will have an ES350h with 1.5T hybrid as the standard model and a ES400h F-sport with 2.0T hybrid. Or, maybe the 2.0T hybrid as sole power train, but with two different power output (since we already know the 2.0T will have different outputs). The Camry will most assuredly get the 1.5T hybrid as sole power train, so I lean towards the ES having that at least as a base engine option.

My hat is off to Lexus for refusing to build ugly AF cars like BMW.

Switched from a Camry to a new ES350 F and it is the most comfy and quiet NA car I’ve ever driven. I hope they continue producing this model for a long time.

8:50 I hope it'll be a full length (blade) taillight bar, there is an aftermarket mod for the 7th gen to replace that trim section with an led blade and it makes it look like the newer nodels.

I decided to get in on an 24 ES350 before things potentially change up. This is easily my favorite car I've ever owned, I love most everything about it from styling to comfort, physical controls abound. Yes it's not going to handle like a german car, but it will last forever with this NA v6 and 300HP is plenty, especially when using manual shift in sport mode. It's an absolute joy of a daily driver both on garbage roads and highway stretches. I encourage anyone to at least test drive one when considering sedan options.

Because of the lackluster enthusiasm for sedans here in the USA, it would not surprise me if they don’t do much with it. Also if demand for SUV’s continues even Toyota/Lexus could kill off all their sedans and only offer small to large SUV’s in their line up. I feel like I used to see new Camry and ES300 everywhere driving around Nashville, today I see very few new Camry and even less ES300. I do see RAV4 all the time and even have couple friends who drive them. There is no doubt where the demand is.

Lexus has lost the plot. Ditching physical buttons is SO STUPID. I've had Teslas, it's a terrible idea, a terrible trend, and automakers need to stop cheaping out and removing buttons and knobs. Shame on you Lexus.

My parents just recently got a used 2021 Lexus ES300h for a screamin deal, and it’s such a wonderful car. They got one with all the features and in the paint they liked, and they couldn’t be happier with it. I drive a 2001 Land Cruiser 100 series and they drive a 2005 GX, so the money being saved on gas is really nice for them too

The long and short is, despite the ES being the biggest sedan seller in Lexus lineup, it PALES in comparison to the UX, NX, RX and GX sales. No manufacturers (save for the Germans) seem to be putting any real effort into redesigning their sedan platforms from the ground up. SUVs and crossovers are the money printers, not sedans.

It is true that the Lexus ES actually competes with the Mercedes E-class or BMW 5 series in the midsize sedan class, but in reality in Japan itself the main competitor of the E-class and 5 series is the Toyota Crown Sedan RWD, but it is very unfortunate that the Toyota Crown Sedan RWD is currently only officially sold in the Japanese market (JDM) and the Chinese market (for the LHD market), although the Crown Sedan RWD was once sold as the Lexus GS, but the Lexus GS has stopped production

All Lexus vehicles will have light bars, I like it on our ‘23 NX.. I think it was the first implementation of the light bar on the NX!?

Own a Lexus and a Tesla model 3. Love the knobs and dials for climate controls in the Lexus. After a year I’ve become extremely frustrated with having to use the stupid screen menus for climate and especially the wiper controls on the model 3. Will NOT be getting another Tesla because of this especially with the signal controls being on the steering wheel. What are you smoking Tesla. Some YouTuber should do reaction time video for how long it takes to turn on the wipers or change the climate settings. And let’s see for how long their eyes are looking at the screen instead of the road.😮

Why change a winning team? The current ES is quality wise superb, superior to a 5 series, E class etc. Imo one of the usp's of Lexus, continously improving their cars.... .

Look at the new 5 series, obese, ugly, full of hard plastics in

Hope these updates make it to the IS as well... Love the exterior design but that interior desperately needs an update! And hopefully the V8 in the IS500 will live on as well.

The ES still has a great design. It has one of the best exterior designs in the segment and better legroom and cargo capacity.

I want an LBX for my wife. She loves small, fast vehicles, and the upgraded LBX would be perfect for women with no kids. It's stylish, quick, efficient, and has a luxury interior. If it's good enough for Mr. Toyoda, it's good enough for us in the U.S.

Edited: I've already told my salesperson in Dallas that we want an LBX. Of course, he has not answered and he is a part owner of the dealership Park Place.

It needs ambient lighting, PHEV, better interior than the TX NX and RX. If it’s exclusively AWD it would be a plus. The volume/tune switch was a ES and LS exclusive. Unpopular opinion: your thumbnails are getting really old.. they’d be better without the same copy/paste photo in every video. It just seems very lazy

so just interior update and presumably new powertrain..

I think, that the clock next to screen could also replaced from the start/stop button. If you compare it fo the RX interior..
