Just like every team requires a leader, every Cell requires a master to govern its activities. Any idea which organelle takes up the designation of the Controlling Unit? How are the activities of other organelles regulated? Watch this video to find the answers.

In this video, we will learn:
0:00 Introduction
0:42 what is Nucleus?
1:06 what is genetic material - chromatin fibers, chromosome & genes
1:58 what are genes?
2:29 DNA
2:52 chromatins

The nucleus was the first of the cell organelles to be discovered by scientists.
It usually takes up about 10 percent of the cell's volume.

Nucleus, its layers and the prominent function of it

In a cell, various *organelles* are in charge of specific functions. (Organelles - "Tiny organs")

The *Nucleus* is the organelle that "acts as a leader" in the cell.
The *Nucleus* is the *controlling unit* for every organelle; It governs the functions of the other organelles.
-It contains the genetic material of the organism, making it a major cell organelle.

Inside the nucleus of the cell resides the *Chromatin Fibers* (Tangled thread-like structures)
*Chromatin Fibers* enclose the genetic material within them.
-During (and only) at cell division, Chromatin Fibers coil to form a sophisticated structure called *Chromosome*
(X-shaped structures)

Chromosomes are made up of segments called *Genes*
Genes form the basis of *Heredity* in all organisms.
(Heredity - Transmission of biological characteristics of either parents [sexual reproduction] or itself [asexual reproduction] to an offspring.)
-Genes are composed of *DNA* (Deoxyribonucleic Acid)
-(*DNA* is a sequence of multiple *Nucleotides* that contains the organism's genetic code. It is shaped in an antiparallel double helix arrangement)

In the reversed manner:
We have the *DNA molecules *forming functional segments called *Genes*.
Many such *Genes* come together to form the *Chromosomes*
*Chromosomes* exists only during the process of cell division. Outside the active period, the chromosomal structure remains as tangled threads called *Chromatin*
(Chromatins are, apart from their structure, are the same thing)
The genetic material is locked in the form of *Chromatin Threads* present in the *Nucleus*

Under the system of regulations from the cell's Nucleus, *Proteins* help with the activity.
The genes present in the Nucleus code for specific proteins
*Proteins* perform various functions that we find in the cell

Functions right from
-Passing information
-Communication
-Building Structures
All these are carried out by specific proteins.
That is how the *Nucleus* help in regulating the various functions of the other cell organelles

Unlike other organelles, the nucleus has its own membrane separating the inner contents from the rest of the cytoplasm.
Its membrane has pores to allow entry and exit of substances across it.
The Nucleus also has its own Nucleoplasm that is slightly different from the rest of the cytoplasm.

THIS CHANNEL EXPLAINS EVERY TOPIC IN AN EASY WAY. I like the way that mam speaks English fluently.
The precise pronunciation of words helps me to understand the actual pronunciation.

Thank you for the video. 😊😊
