I'm 39 started riding mtb a year ago.. I had to say I'm way more good than I was last year. I think riding atleast once a week helps develop confidence.

I'm 63. Been riding almost 30 years and go to gym and swimming to help keep fitness up . I do some weights, cardio and stretching which helps a lot. Best thing I did was retire early so I can do a lot more for myself. Worst thing about me is my balance sucks, so I am working on that at gym and on the bike.

Coming back from nasty health problems and weight gain, I finally got to the point I could ride again a few months ago. Luckily, I have the freedom to ride 4-5 days a week and it's so nice to feel and see the progress in strength, skill and confidence. 👍 Big thanks to GMBN and GMBNTech for being a huge part of my pit crew.

Old bmx and dirt jumper when I was 13. Found my love of all things bike last year at 35...
I made the most progress doing the disciolines I once made fun of haha. Raced my first XC race two weekends ago, and it is adding to my endurance on the track. Crazy how every other skill helps build all around bike badassedness. And I found out I love the spandex. Makes ya feel fast 🤣

Thank you. Been injured around six months and haven't been riding. Been pounding in Skills videos to get the ideas down. Now all I need to do is heal

I've found plain regular walking the best for my riding fitness, once I hit 10km a day, which during winter is difficult.

All great points, dialing in the bike has a bit of a learning curve but pays huge dividends.

Looking for little opportunities in apparently boring trails. Try and find a compression or a rock to make something of can make riding much more fun.
