This whole ‘no video’ thing is highly suspect. Those fighter jets are bristling with cameras. Yet NO VIDEO of this thing? WHY? Its been shot down, no one has claimed it, and therefore it’s ANONYMOUS so why can’t we see the plane video?

Shoot first, then try and figure out what we were shooting at. Then figure out a lame excuse for being trigger happy. (danger to aircraft). This was probably a US balloon, launched from Alaska and probably got FAA approval to fly there, until the Pentagon retroactively told the FAA to close off the air space.

I can't believe how completely detached this world has become. Michael Santos is a complete goof here, from the poor internet connection to the fact that he doesn't speak on the size of the object being the size of a car. His slurred speech led to difficulty in understanding his abysmal reasoning for the destruction of the object. This was not a show of force. This was a reclusive act after intense criticism from last week's incident. The fact this was likely a Russian aircraft leads me to fear the coming hours. Santos was triggered when he was given context on the 2nd object and caused him to visibly recaoil. 4:47 his unprofessionalism leads me to believe news reporting has gone down the tank without the orange man's words. Santos cleverly forgot the Battle of Los Angeles in 1942 when tensions were high between U.S and Imperial Japan. February 24 -25. The final question about Americans being concerned is answered by a simple answer that should have ended once it began. Yes. History repeats itself and I implore all those who kept reading this to pay attention. This world is important. We have explored asteroids and found once-extinct animals, cleverly designed analogs for Gecko pads. Our children cannot grow in a shadow of fear. Look what it did to the world once. China wouldn't use a balloon that you can see with a Nikon to spy on us, you think they are that silly? 40, 000 feet is not far from an efficient flight of most commercial aircraft. The Pentagon had no Idea what to tell The President on what the object was... I pray it WAS a weather balloon. Or a Super villain or an alien.. anything other than a mistake that leads to even more costly ones.
