Its my favorite Tier 10 medium, just so flexible and suitable for almost any situation u find yourself in. Imo opinion a prime example how a tank can be fun and competetive while not beeing broken or OP since it is scaling with the players skill

When I used to play console, I remember having to use the Cent. line to grind out the Chisel contract (if you know, you know). All 3 Cents., starting from T8 were perfect. Literally perfect 👌

I just recently got an AX and I gotta say its very enjoyable, gun is so much better than I was expecting, turret was just as bad as I was expecting and the mobility feels great, is it my favorite? no thats still the UDES 15/16 but its probably second

At least you get damage for the last shot you fired. My account if you die you don’t get the damage, very weird.

The best setup that worked for me in centurion is : modified configuration, rammer, stabs . Because this tank takes critical hits mainly the amorack, and it was really frustrating because the tank is a joy to play otherwise. That being said , after this and the Field mods and crew skills is sooo much comfortable to play .

There's two factors shown in this video why CAX doesnt perform as usually it could. One is that Lakeville battle. You have no idea how often that happens. AX is a true versatile med tank and it isnt carrying any games alone. It wants to be with teammates but if teammates are also bots, you might as well lose the game by doing virtually no influence to the game.

The second factor is medium tank players dont know what to do after the first engagements. I admit, I sometimes am part of those players but more often than not, medium tank players either just kill themselves off trying to make a play or they just sit somewhere and wait. As you all know, waiting in this game means losing. If you aren't actively trying to do something, you might as well be an NPC.

Love the tank one of my best games was in this tank. This and the leopard are my 2 favorite t10 mediums.

I think sane people only have problems with gold in 2 situations:
1. When it gives too much compared to standard ammo - like when you're heavy and can't pen other heavies with it, but can pen all of them frontally with gold.
2. When in terms of performance gold ammo is absolute nobrainer (ap/apcr - sconq - and same shell types - leo1, type5...).

There is 3rd point related to 1st, when you can do a lot with standard ammo (you can find weakspots with 80+% pen), but with gold you don't have to even try, just put the tank in reticle (again example with heavies suffering the most becase of this, making their armor irrelevant).

All those things are more of a game balance problem, same as "balancing" tanks with low shell amount, showing WG don't care to figure things out in that regard at all.

Cent is example of not having at least 1st problem, 2nd... Maybe should have 320 to have harder time against heavies front, but there are more problematic shells on other tanks.

Centurion is amazing, prefer the 7/1 over the tier 10 for some reason. Maybe its the hesh. Still prefer the udes over the centurion. Im waiting in horror for the nerfs udes is bound to get.
