Family's Christmas wish answered as their lost dog returns home after nine days missing

WATCH: A Florida family experiences a holiday miracle when their dog, who escaped from home more than a week earlier, returns to their doorstep on Christmas Eve. The owner believes the pup traveled about 20 miles on her own, evading neighborhood search efforts, before finding her way back home.

Such an amazing story. You hear these kinds of stories once in a while. Where sometimes it kind of the opposite. A family will move far away, and the pet will end up back at the old house they just moved away from.
