I was getting to know a man for 3 months. In those 3 months some big horrible fights, triggers activated, accusations made, silent treatment and other people. I skiddadle out of there quickly. I dated a friend and that made all the difference. Being a southern lady, I was taught NOT to chase after a man. Men like the challenge of chasing the woman, it's biological. In my experience whenever I called or text a guy I was interested in, the guy would say he's in the middle of something and can't talk. Now, I feel stupid, desperate and needy for contacting him. Calling a man puts the man on the defensive side. I'd rather let the man call me first. If a relationship starts, then I will contact him through calls and texts but if he's ' too busy' to talk when I call several times, that means to me the guy isn't interested and I'm done contacting him.

Now before this night he had me blocked. I “thought” he was sincerely reaching out and wanted to be back in my life. Nope. We had a great conversation, but He just wanted to know what I was up to. And I’m sure he went through my whole FB page. After that convo he never reached out again and like a week later I realized he unfriended me snd put a block back on me. I believe he just wanted to be nosey. I was devastated. 9 months of healing was ruined and my heart broken all over again. He was not a good person. I thank God we never worked out.
