Pakistan marks national day with military parade | AFP

A parade of troops and military equipment in Islamabad on Wednesday marked Pakistan's national day. The day fell while Pakistan was hosting a meeting of foreign ministers from Muslim nations. The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting and national day celebrations were also attended by China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

Never won a war. Still, Paks have served as UN peacekeepers for decades and lost many soldiers from attacks. For that, they have my respect 💪 Paks also lost 27 soldiers who were mutilated and dragged on the streets in Mogadishu by Somali mobs. We only hear of Black Hawk Down with just the American casualties giving no credit to the brave Pakistani soldiers who volunteer to serve there.
