Got to remember that RT in this manner is very taxing so im not surprised the resolution will.have to take a hit. Add in the physics calculations that tax the cpu along with the potential use of GT sophy and it makes even more sense. Managed to get the game to drop frames currently when sophy is active.

PS. The title is wrong it should be GT7 not 5 lol.

Hopefully the VR version gets a significant boost in visuals too, ideally a performance mode without reprojection.

I play this all the time, it looks exactly the same maybe lower resolution but no way worth buying a pro for, the reflections look amazing as it is and it all flies by so who gives a crap.

In game RT reflection is cool.
But I’m definitely waiting for the next instalment which will hopefully use RT and such more universally. Lighting in GT7 is very very good, but some of the tracks could use it depending on the time of day.
And more importantly, an endurance race that actually changes time of day. Now that would be a next gen race experience
