Racist Woman Who Fatally Shot Black Mom Through Front Door ARRESTED | Roland Martin

The white woman accused of shooting AJ Owens, a mother of four, is behind bars facing several charges, including manslaughter.

Marion County, Florida, Sheriff Billy Woods publicly announced the arrest.

Susan Lorincz is charged with manslaughter with a firearm, culpable negligence, battery, and assault.

She is facing up to 30 years in prison.

According to the sheriff's report, Lorincz shot AJ Owens through a door Friday when AJ attempted to confront Lorincz for allegedly throwing a pair of skates at two of her kids, striking her 10-year-old son in the toe.

The kids were playing in a field near Lorincz's home, and she started an argument with the children.
Owens' 12-year-old son went to speak to the woman. Lorincz opened her door and "swung at them with an umbrella." The kids when home and told their mother.

AJ went to Lorincz's home, knocked on the door, and demanded that the woman come outside. That's when Lorincz fired one shot through the door, hitting Owens in the chest.
She died at the hospital.

AJ's 10-year-old son was standing next to her when she was shot.

I found it interesting how annoyed the chief sounds, even to have to address the issue of justice; as though there aren’t countless instances of delays and outright misuse of power in the past, when it comes to these types of killings. The charge should have been murder rather than manslaughter. She didn't acctidentally shoot Ms Owens. She went and got a gun from somewhere and came to the door with it. In my mind that is premeditation, i.e., muder 1.

Why did the officer representing the sheriff's department say that they only had the story of the shooter if the victims ten year old son was standing next to his mother when she was shot?
The shooter initially kicked up trouble with those children who were playing in the neighborhood grass area then killed the mother when she wanted to talk about the incident. Just ridiculous.
