The way the Avetts sing these gospel songs are always the best renditions. I saw them at Roots, Blues and Barbeque in Columbia, Missouri last year, and they sang this one. It was absolutely amazing.

This song is a sweet memory from my childhood. I remember my foster mother singing this every Sunday after church. Thought it was the prettiest thing I'd ever heard, and I still have a fondness for this song.

I took a video of them singing this song at their concert in Kalamazoo earlier this year. It's really cool finding it here, cause there were a lot of really disrespectful people making noise at the concert. And they sing this song so beautifully. I love the Avett brothers!!
