The Avett Brothers from North Carolina are a four-piece-band, but for an intimate acoustic performance the brothers Scott and Seth Avett played two songs for us. The band formed in 2000 and sells out shows all over the world since their very successful 2009 album "I and Love and You". This song is called "Laundry Room".

We listened to the whole thing through in his car and then I played this song off YT as it was my favorite at the time. When we got out of the car to kiss goodbye I saw a shooting star, we wished on it and the rest is history. We'll be married for four years this October. 😊😉

After all the time that's past... this really IS one of the most beautiful song ever written. This version, this performance in particular draws out so much emotion. Even if you already know how powerful it is, it's like watching the end of Hoosiers, or Rudy for the millionth time... it STILL grabs you by the boo boo and hangs on for a while.
