The problem with too many investors is they look at the world they are in at the moment and they think that will always be the case.

Starting early is the best way of getting ahead to build wealth, investing remains a priority. The stock market has plenty of opportunities to earn a decent payouts, with the right skills and proper understanding of how the market works.

Serious question: is there a successful example of this sort of company, that does only one specific thing that other larger companies can already do on their own?
Companies like Zoom, Beyond Meat, Blue Apron, Peleton etc. Always seem weird to me because there is nothing stopping another much larger company from doing the exact same thing, but with more money.

I don't doubt that Zoom will do well in the coming years, but the competition is going to be fierce. With how easily the video conferencing technology is duplicated, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams are going to eat a large amount of their former user base. Even Brave browser launched their own video conferencing tool.

I feel like one day there will be a lot of regret from all these companies who had private information in all of these Zoom meetings. If they ever get hacked imagine all of the sensitive information that could be released.

For how much longer will people continue to pretend that somehow stock prices are related to the company business? The fact is most stocks are completely detached from the company itself and the company has no obligation whatsoever for the people holding stock.

I always understood the bearish outlook on innovation/tech when it was at ATHs, but bears who are still bearish act as though all these companies didn't exist before the pandemic, but in reality, these companies had astounding growth rates pre-pandemic, and the pandemic just infused them with extra growth. Many companies are trading at 2018 price levels, despite having 2, 3 or 4x ing in that same time.

You could buy zoom and be worried about Microsoft and Google eating your business. Or you can buy a tech etf and bet on technology being more important in the future. Doesn't matter who wins you profit.

I think zoom is oversold. A lot of people will still use zoom after the pandemic. It's not like the pandemic is over and everyone stops using zoom like it never existed lol
