Favourite iems as of currently are the er2xrs. I don't think anything under 300 dollars are beating these so I'm chilling for a while until I inevitably want to upgrade.

What about comparison with FD5? I saw the picture of it on your insta page.
I have the FD5 and even though FD5 is doing some things very right, the upper mid range is just not my cup of tea, i find it very recessed. And by your comments FD3 has the same problem. Just found graphs of both, yes they are tuned basically the same.
Shame, Fiio had a chance to do something different with FD3 here.

Saw a Fiio M11 plus unbox video, and looking forward to your comments about synergy with your favorite iems. I have one as well.

My current best IEMs are Thieaudio Monarch, and Fearless S8F, and atm I'm really satisfied with the performance of these. Currently not wanting to spend 2k for an actual upgrade, but your description of VX makes me wonder...
