Fiio's latest IEM is the FH3, and it might be my favorite from the company. It's got three drivers, beryllium coating, and a lot of accessories for your bucks. I spent two weeks with it, these are my thoughts.

I like how Fiio doesn't skimp out on accessories. My $69 Fh1s comes with the same exact case, 3 pair of small bore, 3 pair of wide bore, a pair of foam and that just for their entry level IEM.

Best iems for price. I used the KZ ZS10 Pros (less clarity in sound overall) & Tin T3 (light on bass no omph) skip these and just get the Fiio FH3 another level won't be disappointed.

I have several Fiio products and am very happy with the performance vs price results.

Got mine 2 days ago. Surprised when you said, its bass but you like it. Made me smile and buy it. Because I am a bass guy and mids too. What an iem. Great sound stage and details for the price. Great one

Bass is really tight, decays in time without bleeding into mids. Treble is also good and detailed, no siblance for me. I liked clear tips with red center for best clarity in highs, vocal without siblance with pretty good isolation. Foam tips are best for bass but reduces a little but treble(if you are treble sensitive foam tips are best), isolation is best in foam tips. Never need to get over 30 percent volume with good music source, even with phone with high bit rate music it is pretty loud. I hate neutral tuning with less or no base in Aria or Er2se so best for me in this budget. Thanks for the review.

Using my FiiO FH3 with my FiiO BTR5 paired to my OnePlus 8 Pro phone as a back up to my Astell & Kern SA700/ Shure SE846 combo, really happy with the FH3, outstanding for the money.

Hmmm... I guess all other IEMs, and headphones I've ever used are absolute bass monsters, and i never realized it. Because i don't think there's too much bass. Extra bass, yes. But not too much. I listen to Power Metal 95% of the time, and I absolutely love the sound of these out of the box. No need to change EQs, and the bass is tastefully done. Which is interesting, because if there's one thing i hate, it's too much bass in Metal. Nothing ruins the experience for me more than muddy 16th notes played on a bass drum at 180bpm. These don't do that. I also plug these into my Fiio K3 on my PC, and play games with them, and there amazing at that as well. The FH3s are one of the reasons I'm beginning to transition away from Bluetooth headphones, and one of the reasons I will never buy another gaming headset ever again.

Thanks for the comprehensive review!!!

FH3 is surely a bass monster with godly bass, best part is the mid-range isn't too recessed as found in mostly heavy bass stuff!!

Had mine for a few months, the upgrade from Sennheiser IE80 is unreal. Un. REAL. After these I don't want to go back to full size headphones. I'll probably buy another high-end IEM in the future.
I like big bass, but it has to be tight, like this, where you don't lose the imaging, exactly as you say. So much fun. And of course, these are incredibly comfortable, where you almost forget they're in your ears, which is really the ideal scenario.

... 4 years later, and a year after I bought Fiio FH3, I can say that I share your opinion in every single detail.
I am the owner of Etymotic ER2XR, Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk, Fiio FH3, ARTTI T10 (not comfy and somewhat shouty), Truthear Zero Blue 2 (will soon be sold as it is uncomfortable).

The most important quality is that FIIO FH3 is super comfortable. It has a nice spacious sound specially for classical and Jazz music. Not so good for metal, punk, grunge and similar music that I do not care about.
For such metal music I eq FH3 with Peace/APO and Wavelet sometimes to IEF 2025 Pref target, and + foam tips FH3 get those trebles under control.

FH3 never created any sense of discomfort in my ears. I am using FH3 for 6-8 hours every day.

Great review. How would you conpaire it with Meze Alba and kiwi ears quintet for simfonic metal?

I remember thinking driver material mattered too, just like the marketing said 😂.

I think it would be interesting to see you compare past iems to gauge progress.

Fiio FD1 is another one I hope you get to review at some point - it's half the price of FH3 and has a single dynamic driver delivering that great berillium base and very spacious sound well filled out with the mids and a bit softer treble.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would u rate the FH3's bass(quantity) in comparison to the TFZ No. 3?
