While everywhere else is sad or tragic for the lesbian representation this month, we have Thailand in the corner, pumping out literal happy/wholesome/a tad bit cringey but still good lesbian shows, like The Secret of Us, Reverse 4 You, and 23.5. One of the shows, The Loyal Pin, also happens to be pushed by the Thai Ministry of Commerce, which is so wild and awesome. But its not just Thailand, Japan is also releasing good shows which are worthy of a watch. I would definitely recommend Ayaka is in love Hiroko, if you wanna watch a really good and well treated Japanese lesbian show.

The most important thing from this is Wynonna Earp, that's it, I'm sure some of them are great, but that's my priority. I will watch Hauntology because I'm a sucker for ghost stories, and I'll probably watch All Shall Be Well and A Mistake too.

Was there a meeting where writers decided to stop making FUN gay films? I thought things were headed in the right direction when Booksmart and Crush were released but THIS?? Where is the cute stuff?? The comedy?? The crazy adventures?? 2024 has been a disappointing year for lesbian media. I hate it here🥲

I don't understand why some lesbian sites ignore Thai lesbian series. Yes, many are bad, but Gap the series, The loyal Pin which is currently online or Affair the series, are good, even very good in their genre and revolutionize the way of showing lesbian couples. Gap the series is one of the first series in the world to highlight the story between two women without other parallel stories, with a happy ending, an incredible chemistry between the actresses, which we find again in The loyal Pin, and intimate scenes which are very strong and very rare in TV Show and movies. So yes, you have to like the genre, clearly it's Thai! but when I see the shit that comes out in TV shows and films, the lack of respect sometimes for lesbians in the stories and the unpleasant physique of certain actresses, I think it's high time that more lesbian sites took a little more interest in it 😊

I really don't understand why the West is so terrible at GL. This is a list that will make you start antidepressants and drinking at the same time. I don't understand. It reminds me of when the rest of the world only created lesbian stories that ended in tragedy just make sure that everyone thought that being a lesbian was awful. This is like the lite beer version of that and it has the same metallic aftertaste. The only good GL in the West in recent memory was Warrior Nun and Netflix cancelled it. I feel like there needs to be an intervention.
